William Angliss LRC Donations Policy

Donations are very important for developing our collections to support studying, teaching and researching. We appreciate and welcome donations of culinary resources and will acknowledge them in our database.  The collection consists mainly of Australian culinary material, and we accept donations of suitable rare and obscure books, menus and ephemera in the following areas:

·Australian and English culinary materials

·Wine studies

·Institute history

We have implemented measures to ensure the materials are maintained in excellent condition. These measures include: proper shelving and space for the storage, applying archival standard materials to accession the items, light controls, humidity monitors, and access and handling controls.

If you have materials that you think will be a valuable contribution of our collections and our school’s community, please contact our Special Collections Librarian to express your interest. Your valuable materials will be stored in a safe and secure room and preserved in the proper way, to ensure they will last and benefit future generations.
