Inter-Library loans

If you are a current William Angliss Institute staff member, we can locate items for you that are not held by the LRC.
Our ILL service will attempt to locate and supply items from another library for you.

Please note:
1. All requests must be related to your teaching, employment and/or research.
2. Some charges may apply for non-standard services or delivery, for example rush requests, theses and overseas items. These charges are met by the requester.

How to request:
Please send items details (Author, Book or Article title, Journal title and issue (if appropriate) and Year of publication) plus any information on where the items was sourced, to Anna Lee
at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

How you are notified:
Upon the LRC's receipt of the item, you will receive an email advising you to collect your request

Collecting Your Request:
Items obtained from another library, such as books, DVDs and A/V material, may be collected from the LRC during normal opening hours. With copy requests, where possible, copies of book chapters and journal articles will be delivered electronically to your email address as a pdf scanned attachment. In some cases, print copies will be posted to you via internal mail due to copyright or licensing restrictions preventing electronic delivery.

Loan Periods:
Loan periods vary depending on the lending library's policy.

Renewing an Inter-library Loan:
Contact the ILL Office, Anna Lee, to request an extension at least one week prior to the requested due date.
Please note that Renewals are not always permitted by the lending library.

Returning an Inter-library Loan:
Interlibrary Loans must be returned in person to LRC staff during normal opening hours.
